Dear Parents/Carers,
During the holiday period we will be having some new playground equipment delivered and fixed. The School Council have chosen many of the pieces and with help organized a very successful ‘Bring and Buy Sale’ raising over £500 for the playground.
Again, I must thank the Parents’ Association for their very generous £5000 towards the new equipment. The Parents’ Association is made up of very enthusiastic and committed Infant parents. They would love to welcome some like-minded Junior parents. Please contact Michelle Brooks on: 07791499108.
Second Hand Uniform
The Parents’ Association will be selling second hand uniform on Wednesday 26th March 2008 from 3.00pm in the Lower School Hall. If you are able to let us have any unwanted good condition uniform please bring it to the junior school office.
Walking Bus
Thank you to the parents who came to the coffee morning held in February. Those parents who still haven’t returned their completed application forms to the Junior School Office, please can they return them as soon as possible. This will enable Anne Igoe at the Civic Centre to process them more quickly.
No children are to be on the playground prior to 8.40am. Our facility of the ‘No Breakfast Club’ is available should you need it at £1.50 per day.
We have been advised by Leigh Town Council that our lollipop lady at West Leigh Traffic Lights will not be there on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th March. So extra care should be taken if you cross the London Road at this point.
Any accountants out there? We need the services of a qualified accountant to audit our school fund. Any offers?

Charities
Thank you for the support you give to our charities. Cash in the Couch raised £655.27 for
UNICEF in February.
During SATs and test week there will be no swimming for any year group all week.
